I like the idea of Gang Beasts on paper. Hell, I even like Gang Beasts when I see other players play. The jelly physics of up to eight players smashing into one another and trying to toss each other over the edge is great fun in theory, but becomes more of a frustrating chore and test of patience in practice.

Gang Beasts is honestly a very underrated game and deserves more attention than it gets currently, with very few people playing it and not a lot of new content, apart from new costumes and maps, being implemented.
The combat is simplistic, yet functional, and makes tons of potential for funny moments and stories to tell. I only wish from the control set that there was at least something that would tell me the controls. While the servers may have initially been dodgy, the servers in are very functional, and remained smooth during my time online. The environmental hazards are another story, in a good way. The multiple hazards that accompany each map make each round more dynamic, meaning no two rounds will ever be the same, which helps significantly in the long run.
If the game simply received more content, like game modes, then this game would be an easy 10 for me.
